The study and practice of body liberation is an ongoing one. There is no destination; it is a process, perhaps even a daily practice, that has to be cultivated.
Thank goodness there are so many great learning resources out in the world!
Body liberation, as we’ve discussed before, is all about liberating bodies from expectations. That means liberating our own bodies from the expectations of the world and ourselves. That also means liberating bodies pushed to the margins from the expectations of a society that sees them as ‘other.’ Body liberation brings together a personal growth in self appreciation and social justice. This is why the work is always continuing.
We love to chat about body liberation, and are always learning more about each aspect of it. We’d love for you to learn with us! Below, we’ve compiled a list of some of the places we frequent to further our daily body liberation practices. We encourage you to check out these resources and support their work!
